Argon 18Anti Matter Red XPLR AXS E1 Gravel Bike
Looking for the ultimate gravel race bike? The Argon 18 Anti Matter Red XPLR AXS E1 is a masterclass in aerodynamic integration, designed to bridge the gap between road speed and off-road grit. Engineered as a complete performance system rather than just a frameset, this machine is built for the podium, featuring the cutting-edge SRAM Red XPLR AXS E1 groupset and Zipp 303 XPLR SW wheels.
Unrivalled Aerodynamic Integration
The Anti Matter isn’t just a bike; it’s a “complete aerodynamic system.” Every contour, from the CFD-optimised tube profiles to the ATTEN CHB-01 one-piece aero cockpit, has been sculpted to slice through the wind. Unlike traditional setups where accessories add drag, this gravel powerhouse includes proprietary side-load aero bottle cages and a co-developed ATTEN x Apidura frame bag that allows you to carry essentials with zero aerodynamic penalty. It delivers pure road-bike efficiency on the dirt, ensuring that every watt you produce translates into forward momentum.
Elite Components for Maximum Power Transfer
At the heart of this build is the pinnacle of gravel technology: the SRAM Red XPLR AXS E1 13-speed wireless groupset. Combined with a SRAM Red XPLR Power Aero crankset, you can track your performance with surgical precision. To ensure not a single watt is wasted, Argon 18 has utilised an oversized T47 bottom bracket and CeramicSpeed SLT bearings, offering a “set-and-forget” durability and world-class smoothness. The Zipp 303 XPLR SW wheelset, wrapped in Schwalbe G-One RS PRO tyres, provides the low rolling resistance and high-volume stability needed for modern, high-speed gravel courses.
Precision Control on Rough Terrain
Speed is nothing without control. The Anti Matter features a wide, deep fork design and horizontal, dropped seatstays that work in tandem to dampen high-frequency vibrations while maintaining a stiff, responsive rear triangle. With 55mm tyre clearance, you have the versatility to tackle everything from hard-packed fire roads to unpredictable muddy sectors. The inclusion of the Repente Quasar CR 2.0 saddle and Ciclovation Grind Touch bar tape ensures that even in the closing stages of a 200km race, your contact points remain comfortable and secure.
Engineered for the Modern Racer
Argon 18 has utilised a pro-level carbon layup to balance featherweight climbing ability with the robustness required for gravel racing. The geometry is aggressive yet stable, offering the precision needed to dive into corners at race pace. Maintenance is also simplified for the privateer racer, featuring a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) for easy replacements. If you are a rider who refuses to compromise on speed, the Anti Matter is the most technologically advanced, relentlessly efficient tool ever created to help you dominate the gravel scene.
