The Marin Gestalt XR Gravel Bike is the ultimate in gravel performance, taking the Gestalt X’s rough-and-rowdy approach and elevating it to the next level. It’s built for those who want to leave fire roads behind, race down singletrack, and push further and faster than ever—while still embracing the versatility, challenge, and fun of a drop-bar bike.
The Gestalt XR features a longer wheelbase, a slack, mountain bike-inspired head angle, a low-slung frame, wide handlebars, a short stem, and large, chunky tyres with clearance for up to 50 mm on 700C wheels or 54 mm with a 650B wheelset.
The XR upgrades the performance with a gravel-specific SRAM Apex 12-speed drivetrain, Apex hydraulic disc brakes for superior stopping power, a TranzX dropper post for added control, cushy and grippy 45 mm wide Vee Tire Co rubber, and an array of custom Marin components to ensure an exceptional gravel experience.
